Fauntleroy Zinobop is the evil clone of Ralph Zinobop. He is Ralph's bitterness amplified to the nth degree and given physical manifestation. Hateful and sadistic, Fauntleroy never passes up an opportunity to bring unnecessary pain and suffering to others, even when doing so is not in his best interests. His body is horrifically scarred, and his current goal is to swap minds with either Ralph or Ralphie. After accomplishing that, he plans to torture the Steel Duck crew to death and conquer his home planet, Zinobop.
He is a bad man.

Backstory
After having his positive emotions removed in the form of Ralphie, Ralph began to show signs of a gradually developing psychosis. This only worsened as each successive attempt at returning to Zinobop ended in failure, often due to the faults of his crew.
In Armageddon to It, Ralph's pent-up frustration fully surfaces. After he callously refused to help save Earth from a disastrous asteroid impact, the crew took control of the ship from him and swapped his mind with that of Mayberry Melonpool. This caused Ralph to go temporarily insane. He savagely attacked the crew before they finally managed to subdue him. While none of the crew knew it at the time, this aspect of Ralph's personality would eventually become one of their greatest adversaries.
Fauntleroy's origins are explained in Double Your Pleasure. After Ralphie adjusted the Dup-O-Matic to make it create normal clones instead of anti-clones, he attempted to duplicate the Steel Duck's only functioning turbine. The metal surface of the turbine reflected the energy beam, sending it into the sensor controls, where it's intensity was amplified by twenty megawatts. The sensor dish shot the intensified duplication beam to the top of the Asteroid's volcano, where Ralph was mulling over the current state of affairs. The beam struck Ralph, creating Fauntleroy.
Fauntleroy proceeded to attempt to kill or trap everyone on the asteroid, starting by freezing Mayberry in carbonite and trapping Sam and Ralphie in a cave. He then continued to try to force Roberta and Jalea to be his brides. When they both refused, believing he was Ralph, he zapped them with the Fuse-O-Matic and then chased them. In the chase, he accidently zapped The Pets and Sammy, and then was grabbed by them and hurled from a cliff. He was rescued by Indian Jalea, and he used the parts from his father's ship and Indian Jalea to create Mecha-Sammy. Then he returned to the Steel Duck, where the remainder of the crew was staying, and tryed to destroy them. Ralph trapped he and Fauntleroy within a room and they swapped brains using the Cerebral swapper, and in the end, Ralph took the body that wasn't horribly ruined and Fauntleroy was blasted out of the Steel Duck. With a Catatonic Sam aboard, they then proceeded to leave the Asteroid and fly away, leaving Fauntleroy to swear revenge, shaking his fist in the air.
History
Double Trouble
Fauntleroy's first act upon being created was an attempt to murder Ralph. He pushed Ralph into the active volcano they were both standing on the edge of, then climbed back down into the jungle, believing Ralph to be dead. Reveling in his newfound cruelty, Fauntleroy made his way back to the ship so he could kill the rest of the crew. In order to get past the crew and reach the ship, he performed an impersonation of Ralph that was even worse than Ralph's impersonation of Ralphie. He then preceded to pick-off the crew members one by one. He froze Mayberry in carbonite, then added insult to injury by hanging the Melotian in Ralph's office. After tricking Ralphie and Sam into entering a cave, he entombed them there with a large boulder.
Fauntleroy offered to spare Roberta and Jalea as long as they agreed to reproduce with him. Upon refusal, he fused them into a single being so he could kill them both in one fell swoop. Luckily, they escaped into the jungle before he could finish them off. Armed with the Fuse-O-Matic, he searched the asteroid for his prey. On the way, he accidentally fused Sammy, Maddie, and Quack together, a fusion that would eventually lead to the creation of Merv. In order to prevent this fused creature from damaging the Steel Duck, Fauntleroy was forced to abandon his search for the female members of the crew. The creature carried him to a cliff and dropped him off it, but he survived by grabbing onto a tree growing from the cliff's side. He was then rescued by J-LB8.
J-LB8 led Fauntleroy to the abandoned one-man spaceship of King Zinobop. Upon examining it, Fauntleroy vowed to get revenge on his father after killing the Steel Duck crew. He dismantled the broken ship and used it's parts to rebuild J-LB8 as Mecha-Sammy before sicking her on the crew.
Mecha-Sammy found Roberta and brought her to Fauntleroy, who tied Roberta to a tree. Fauntleroy took a pair of Ralphie's clothes from Roberta's backpack to use as a disguise, then made his way back to the ship. The disguise worked, but he was still ambushed by Ralph, who tried to use the Cerebral Swapper to trap Fauntleroy in his own volcano-burned body. Fauntleroy escaped Ralph and welded himself into the ship's bridge alone. Refusing to give up, Ralph teleported himself into the ship's bridge using the Transporter. After swapping minds with Fauntleroy, Ralph had Ralphie teleport him back into engineering. Ralph used the ship's laser to blow off the bridge. Without the bridge, the Steel Duck was light enough to fly with only one turbine. Fauntleroy finally chose his name as he was marooned on the asteroid with Mecha-Sammy, the Fuse-O-Matic, and half the Cerebral Swapper.
Mr. Opus' Holland
The Steel Duck teleported Rasputin Melonpool to the asteroid so he could be marooned with the other evil duplicates. Mistaking Rasputin for Mayberry, Fauntleroy ordered Mecha-Sammy to attack him.
The Wrath of Fauntleroy
While on the way to Melotia, the Steel Duck was attacked by a much larger and more powerful ship, the ZSC-2. After badly damaging the the Steel Duck with a G.R.A.I.S.E. Cannon, the ZSC-2 used a tractor beam to pull the small ship into it's landing bay. The crew was shot with a G.R.A.I.S.E. Paralysis Beam. They woke up in a replica of the mad scientist's dungeon from Gilligan's Island with Fauntleroy holding them prisoner.
Using an expositional flashback, Fauntleroy revealed how he escaped the asteroid. The Zinoforming of the asteroid created several useful items based on props and plot devices from Gilligan's Island. While exploring the asteroid, Fauntleroy discovered these items and devised a plan. By eating radioactive vegetables, he was able to strengthen his enfeebled body. Using parts from two 1960's Nasa probes, a robot, a japanese submarine, and a biplane, he was able to build a giant electromagnet. This magnet allowed him to attract the abandoned spaceship G.R.A.I.S.E.land. Using parts from that ship and the mad scientist's castle on the asteroid, he was able to build his new ship and leave the asteroid.
Fauntleroy also revealed that he and Rasputin are working together. The two of them escorted Ralph out of the dungeon so Fauntleroy could reclaim his original body. In the ZSC-2's engineering room, Ralph and Fauntleroy are both placed in two compartments of Fauntleroy's improvised cerebral swapper. It's revealed that Fauntleroy had been kidnapping the crews of nearby spaceships and attaching mind control collars to them. Roberta teleported Ralph back to the Steel Duck just before his mind was swapped. Fauntleroy, believing Ralph to be vaporized, ordered Rasputin to retrieve Ralphie and use half power next time. After testing the swapper on Rasputin and Mayberry, Fauntleroy used it to steal Ralphie's body. Eight hours later, Ralph teleported Mayberry and Ralphie aboard the Steel Duck.
Rasputin, upset about needlessly losing his body, demanded Fauntleroy do something to retrieve it. Fauntleroy offered a characteristically bloodthirsty solution, but Rasputin insisted on taking more effective measures. Fauntleroy threatened to mind control him, then left to change out of Ralphie's clothes. With that task completed, he returned to the dungeon to torture the rest of the Steel Duck crew, only to find that they've escaped their shackles. After Ralph knocked out the ZSC-2's lighting system, the Steel Duck crew was able to escape right out from under Fauntleroy's nose. Fauntleroy ordered the ZSC-2's crew to find them, but the mind control collars went offline with the blackout, and Fauntleroy's crew mutinied against him. While fleeing from them, he tripped over the Fuse-O-Matic. Roberta arrives and threatens him, but Fauntleroy calls her bluff. He fires the Fuse-O-Matic at her, but Ralph teleports her away just before the beam hits her, causing it to hit Mayberry and Ralphie instead. A disturbing Dallas reference with Lymann from Garfield ensues.
Mayberry and Ralphie discovered that the fusion has given them superhuman strength. They chased Fauntleroy down the halls of the ZSC-2, but he ducked into Rasputin's quarters. Mayberry and Ralphie knocked him out by breaking the door down on top of him. After incapacitating Rasputin as well, Mayberry and Ralphie used the improvised cerebral swapper to get their bodies back. Now fused together, Fauntleroy and Rasputin attacked themselves, giving Mayberry and Ralphie time to escape. In a desperate act of revenge, Rasputin set off a Fuse-O-Matic bomb. The bomb mangled the ZSC-2 and scrambled Fauntleroy and Rasputin into a genetic blob.
Fauntleroy has not been seen since.
Trivia
- Fauntleroy's name is Ralph's middle name. Steve Troop chose to give Ralph the same middle name as Donald Duck.
